Kimco has a waste transfer station capable of refuse management. Our lot is able to accommodate large quantities of dry waste. As construction and demolition projects produce a significant amount of dry waste, refuse management is a necessary aspect of a contracting job. Kimco is able to provide hauling from your project site to our facility, just ask about our Container Services.

Safety Requirements

Safety and environmental concerns are of paramount importance at Kimco. Our company has established strict safety requirements for loads of refuse that enter our facility.

Some refuse must be handled according to safety standards. If you have any of the items listed below please contact our office for assistance prior to delivery.

Asbestos (minimum quantities must be met)
Closed steel drums, or any sealed units or vessels
Freon-containing units such as Fridges, Freezers, A/C Units etc. *
Paint

Propane tanks, oxygen or helium, cylinders OR any container suspected of being pressurized
Unspent Air bag containers
Any unit that may contain, or have come into contact with PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl)
Oil tanks (must be cut in half and free of any liquids)

*We offer services to remove Freon, making these units safe for disposal
